Jenna Julien Consulting, in collaboration with Sunrise Citi Connect and Love with Light, had the honor of participating in the 3rd Annual Back to School Drive, a truly impactful event that brought together over 60 children and parents from the community. This year’s drive was made even more special through the partnership between these incredible organizations, each committed to uplifting and empowering families as they prepare for the school year ahead.

Love with Light, founded by Apryl James in loving memory of her mother, Lynette LaRode, who was a passionate advocate for children, has spent the past three years making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Their mission to support, inspire, and provide resources for children and families is one that resonates deeply with all those involved.

Jenna Julien, as a leader of Sunrise Citi Connect, represented the social hub at this heartwarming event. Sunrise Citi Connect is a community for young professionals, providing a safe space to belong, believe, be, and become—fostering growth, empowerment, and connection among individuals seeking to make an impact in their personal and professional lives.

At the event, Jenna, alongside Mindset Coach Letina Mata, led an empowering stress management session for parents, offering valuable strategies and tools to navigate the challenges that often arise with the back-to-school season. The session focused on helping parents manage their stress in healthy, constructive ways, allowing them to approach the new school year with a sense of calm, confidence, and empowerment.

This collaboration was more than just about school supplies—it was about making a lasting impact on the emotional and mental well-being of both children and parents, helping them approach the school year with resilience and hope.
